Great recipe! I've made it twice now and I have just a few little recommendations. The batch I made where I refrigerated the dough longer (1 day) worked better, simply because it was nice and col. Working with it quickly while it is still cold is key. Also, completely cooling the cherry filling before making the pies helped the pie maintain a nicer shape. (It didn't sag and flatten as much). I crimped the edges just like a pie crust. YUM! Thanks!

Fabulous! I was looking for a hand pie recipe, looks like i found it! I picked a BUNCH of sour cherries from my neighbor's tree last week and intend to go back for more today. I made a delicious Sour Cherry Almond Cake and some little Financiers, these will be next!

Would love to hear about the cheesecake recipe too :)
